
TGTE to Convene Parliamentary Sitting in the UK: Edinburgh, Liverpool, London — 20–23 November 2025
Four-day session (“Arasavai Amarvu”) will feature public briefings and legal initiatives focused on a referendum mandate and justice for atrocities.
EDINBURGH, U.K. — 20 November 2025 — The Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) will convene its parliamentary sitting, Arasavai Amarvu, across three U.K. cities—Edinburgh, Liverpool, and London—from 20–23 November 2025. The multi-city session will bring together elected TGTE members, legal experts, civil-society partners, and diaspora representatives to advance two core priorities: a democratic referendum pathway and pursuit of justice for genocide and mass atrocities.
Over four days, the program will include public briefings, strategy discussions, and legal support activities. Community members, academics, advocacy groups, and media are invited to attend designated open segments. Sessions will be conducted in Tamil and English.
