Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam (TGTE) announced that the rally to call for the arrest of Sri Lankan Military Attaché just began. Thousands are already assembled, even before the official start of the rally and many more are pouring in.
There is a huge traffic jam and Tamil volunteers are managing the crowds. There is also a very large police presence. Sri Lankan Mission officials are holed up inside the Mission.
NOTE: This rally is jointly organized by Transnational Government of Tamil Eelam, Tamil Youth Organization, Tamil Coordinating Committee and Tamil Solidarity.
MARCH: Demonstrators will march from Sri Lankan High Commission to UK’s Foreign Commonwealth Office at King Charles Street, Westminster.
Demonstrators are urging UK Government to arrest Sri Lankan Military Attaché Brigadier Priyanka Fernando for committing War Crimes, Crimes Against Humanity and Genocide against Tamil people and prosecute him under Universal Jurisdiction.
